Wen-Ting Yang is a PhD researcher at Maastricht University (Faculty of Law). She is also a member of the Maastricht Law and Tech Lab and of the Maastricht European Private Law Institute (MEPLI). Her doctoral research focuses on the legal permissibility and obligation of the use of ‘nudges’ in investor protection. Prior to her work in the faculty, she completed degrees in different fields of study— Special Education, Engineering and Law. From 2017 to September 2022, she worked at the Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica, where her research mainly focused on personal data protection.
