Dr. Klaus Wiedemann is a Senior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich. His research interests lie on questions relating to the data economy, in particular with regard to new digital business models and to the relationship between EU data protection and competition law. His research has been published in various peer-reviewed journals, such as the European Journal of Law and Economics. Klaus believes that in the digital economy, a holistic approach taking into consideration not only other legal disciplines but also insights from other scientific fields can generate valuable results and benefit society.
