Jessica Schroers is doctoral researcher at CiTiP, KU Leuven. Her research focuses on electronic identity, electronic signatures and data protection. She writes her doctoral thesis on the responsibility for electronic identity. Jessica Schroers joined CiTiP in 2013. Originally from Germany, she studied in the Netherlands at the University of Tilburg, where she obtained a Bachelor degree in ‘Recht en Management (civiel effect )’ and Master degrees in ‘International Business Law’ and in ‘Law&Technology’. At CiTiP, Jessica has been working as a researcher on various Belgian and EU (FP7 and H2020) projects such as FutureID, ECOSSIAN, Cloud for Europe, KRAKEN and currently PRAETORIAN.
