Cameron Russell is the primary privacy advisor on all global payments matters at eBay. Prior to eBay, Cameron was Western Union’s Data Protection Officer (DPO) in the EEA, U.K., and Balkans. Previously, Cameron was the Executive Director of the Center on Law and Information Policy (CLIP) at Fordham Law School in New York, where he also taught trademark, privacy, and copyright law courses. Cameron has articles published in the Washington Univ. Law Review, Stanford Tech. Law Review, Berkeley Tech. Law Journal, and Virginia Journal of Law and Tech., among other venues. In addition to his role at eBay, Cameron currently serves on the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security’s Data Privacy and Integrity Advisory Committee and its Emerging Technologies subcommittee.
