N. Cameron Russell is the E.U. Data Protection Officer for Western Union. Prior to coming to WU, Cameron was the Executive Director of the Center on Law and Information Policy at Fordham Law School in New York, where he also taught trademark, information privacy, and copyright law courses. Cameron has been interviewed regarding online privacy issues by various media outlets including CBS, NBC, and CNN, and provided expert testimony in legislative proceedings in California, Connecticut, and Vermont. Cameron earned his undergraduate degree from UNC-Chapel Hill's Kenan-Flagler Business School and his J.D. from the University of Denver. He is a magna cum laude LL.M graduate of Fordham Law School in intellectual property and information technology law.
