Natalia Menéndez González is a PhD candidate at the European University Institute where she researches the proportionality within the use of Facial Recognition Technology. She is also a teaching assistant at the School of Transnational Governance, a research fellow at the Center for AI and Digital Policy and the Information Society Law Center at the University of Milano, co-founder of The DigiCon blog and vice-chair of the PhD students in AI Ethics research group. Her other research interests include AI Ethics and the intersection between AI and Democracy.
