Diana Dimitrova is a researcher at FIZ Karlsruhe, which is a member of the Leibniz Institut für Informationsinfrastruktur. In August 2021 Diana defended her PhD at the VUB/LSTS on the topic of the rights of access and rectification in the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice. A special topic of interest in her research are border control and migration topics, as well as police cooperation. Previously, Diana worked at the law faculty of the University of Leuven, Belgium and she was a trainee at the EDPS. Diana holds an LLM in European Law from the University of Leiden, the Netherlands.
