Dr. Bassi is a researcher, consultant and policy innovator with a legal and philosophical background. Currently she is Senior Research Fellow at the Nexa Center for Internet & Society (Politecnico di Torino), and External Fellow at the Ethics + Emerging Sciences Group (San Luis Obispo, California Polytechnic State University). She is the Editor of the book series "Tecnologie emergenti e diritto" (Mimesis). Her publications and expertise are on privacy law, data governance, European IT policy, digital innovation for the public sector, aviation law, telecommunication law, ethics and legal theory.
