Gianclaudio Malgieri is a Doctoral Researcher at LSTS of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. He's expert of privacy, data protection, IP Law, algorithm regulation, surveillance law and human rights. He's lecturer of IP law at the University of Pisa and lecturer of Data Protection law at Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa (where he got his Master's Degree cum laude). He works at the H2020 EU Project "Success - Securing critical infrastructures", developing a privacy-by-design and security-by-design framework for smart meters. He's affiliated with Brussels Privacy Hub and Panel Coordinator at CPDP. He was research student at LSE, WTI of the University of Bern and ENS of Paris.
