Wenkai Li is a PhD researcher at the Health & Aging Law Lab (HALL) and the Law, Science, Technology and Society Research Group (LSTS) of Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). His research focus on data protection law and the use of health data, particularly the individual rights in the secondary use of electronic health data. He is also engaged with the EU IMI project FACILITATE, focusing on the legal aspects of developing solutions for the return and secondary use of clinical trial data. Before joining VUB, he completed his LL.M. degree in Law and Digital Technologies at Leiden University, the Netherlands.
