Hinako Sugiyama is a lawyer qualified in Japan and the U.S. with expertise in international human rights, corporate compliance investigations, and risk management. Hinako focuses her work on the intersection of technology and human rights. Her experience includes: serving as a legal fellow with the international NGO, Access Now; interning with the Electronic Frontier Foundation; and working as a compliance lawyer at Baker McKenzie Tokyo.
