Yordanka Ivanova is a Legal and Policy Officer in the European Commission (DG CNECT, A2) in the unit responsible for Artificial Intelligence Police Development and Coordination. She is a member of the legal team that has drafted the Commission proposal for a Regulation on AI and followed the negotiations with the European Parliament and the Council. After the successful adoption of the AI Act, Yordanka is now actively involved in the preparations for the implementation of the AI Act and the set-up of the AI Office, following also relevant international initiatives on AI.
