Mireille Hildebrandt is a tenured Research Professor at Law, Science, Technology and Society studies (LSTS), Vrije Universiteit Brussel. She is also a parttime Full Professor at the institute of Computing and Information Sciences (iCIS), Radboud University Nijmegen, where she teaches law to master students of computer science. Her research focus is on the implications of smart technologies for the practice and the Rule of Law. Hildebrandt has published extensively (over a hundred contributions to scientific publications), she e.g. gave the 2015 Chorley Lecture of The Modern Law Review at London School of Economics, and will be teaching ‘Data-Driven Law’ as Distinguished Visiting Professor at the University of Toronto Law School (2018).
