Jaya Klara Brekke speaks, writes and does research on privacy, political economy and governance of decentralized technologies. She is CSO at Nym, a decentralized and incentivized privacy system and a fellow at the Weizenbaum Institute in Berlin. She has published in peer reviewed journals 'New Political Economy', 'Frontiers in Human Dynamics' and in the 'Internet Policy Review' and completed a PhD at the Geography Department of Durham University, UK, titled 'Disassembling the Trust Machine: Three cuts on the political matter of blockchain'.
