Valentin Rupp is a lawyer and has been conducting research at the Berlin University of the Arts since 2021 on the regulation of data-driven innovation and large online platforms. His work on data protection law focuses in particular on data protection regulation in the contexts of buildings, mobility and healthcare, the legal significance and design of technical anonymisation models, and the design and automation of consent processes and automated risk assessments.
