Declan is a Group Manager for AI and Biometrics at the Information Commissioner's Office. He leads a range of strategic work on AI and has worked closely on areas such automated decision making, generative AI and public sector adoption of AI. Prior to working in tech policy, Declan was an academic researcher focussed on the governance of digital technologies and public trust in sources of online information.
