CPDP2027 to celebrate 20th anniversary edition

Posted on 01.07.2026

Marking its 20th anniversary, CPDP2027 will take place from 8-11 March 2027 at Maison de la Poste (Tour & Taxis), Brussels. This edition of CPDP will bring together the international privacy and data protection community for four days of discussion, debate, and exchange on privacy, data protection, AI, and digital governance.

The conference will open with the traditional Opening Night on Monday 8 March, followed by three conference days on 9, 10 and 11 March.

An early spring edition provides a timely opportunity to convene the community as research agendas, policy initiatives, and institutional priorities begin to take shape for the year ahead.

A New Timeline for the Calls

For CPDP2027, the timeline for submissions will also change. Unlike previous years, all CPDP 2027 calls will open simultaneously in mid-September and will close in November. This applies across the different calls (Panels, Workshops, Papers and Culture club), allowing participants to plan their submissions within one coordinated timeline.

Further information on the different calls, submission guidelines, deadlines, and registration for CPDP2027 will be published in September 2026.

CPDP looks forward to celebrate its 20th edition with its international community and to continuing to strengthen rigorous, independent, and inclusive debate on privacy and data protection in a rapidly changing digital society
