Sarah Tas is a Lecturer in Public Law at the University of Maastricht, as well as PhD Researcher completing her doctoral research on the supervision of Europol's processing and exchange of personal data. Her research essentially focuses on data protection in the law enforcement and migration context. During her doctoral research, she conducted a Research Stay at the Fundamental Rights Agency, as well as at the Université Libre in Brussels. She is also the Head of the Digital State Section in Digi-Con, and a Senior Editor of the European Journal of Legal Studies.
