Mariana is a lawyer and researcher with a background in the nonprofit sector, specifically human rights organizations. She graduated in Law from the University of São Paulo (USP) and has a specialization degree in management of social projects and public policies by SENAC-SP. She has worked at Data Privacy Brasil since March 2019, where she has held the positions of project lead, project coordinator and, more recently, institutional development coordinator. As of 2023, Mariana is also working on her Master's degree in Philosophy, with a focus on data and digital societies, at the University of Tilburg, the Netherlands.
