All people have a right to the protection of their personal data. In fact, it is a fundamental right. The Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (AP), the Dutch data protection authority, is the independent regulator in the Netherlands that stands up for this right. And which ensures that everyone complies with privacy legislation.
This workshop will start with a short introduction of article 4 of the AI Act, and aspects of AI literacy. Secondly, we touch upon our published framework as a kick off and inspiration for the case study discussion. This is the starting point for group work on 3-5 case studies. Each table discusses a specific case and possible measures regarding a small/medium or large organisation and its approach to AI literacy. The case studies will be inspired on the Compilation of AI Literacy practices, published by the European Commission. After the group work, there will be a plenary discussion of the key take aways from each group to highlight interesting ideas and inspiration. Furthermore, the participants will prioritize the most hands-on and effective measures to improve AI literacy in organisations. The workshop will end with a possibility for discussion and questions.
