Tania works for the European Commission since 2004, after having worked as a competition lawyer for few years. She is currently Deputy Head of Unit of the unit in DG Justice dealing with judicial cooperation in criminal matters. She deals mainly with mutual recognition instruments, including the Directive on the European Investigation Order. She is co-leading the task force on e-evidence established in 2016 between DG Home and DG Justice, which prepared the two legislative proposals of the e-evidence package and is also working on implementing practical measures to improve access to e-evidence.
