With a background in both computer science and law, Benny Rolle (LL.M., M.Sc., CIPP/E) works as a software architect in the field of data protection for an international software company. In his current role, he focuses on the integration of data protection features of cloud software along business processes, as inventor of several patents in this field. His (research) interests include the implementation of data subject rights in software and data protection by design. In 2022, Rolle graduated from the IP & IT Law LL.M. programme at the University of Goettingen, where he dedicated his research to the compensation framework of the GDPR and its practical outcome.
