She designs data protection best practices: documents data flows, solves for data quality & risk. Her background is in econometrics, specialized in eBusiness. She spent 20 years optimising digital databased decision-making processes: following the $€ to optimise data trails. She co-founded & sold her start-up to Publicis: now follows data to minimise risk, touches upon security & ethics. She leads her own consultancy, Aurélie Pols and Associates, serves as DPO for CDP mParticle, teaches Privacy & Ethics at IE Business School, is a visiting fellow at Maastricht Uni., part of their ECPC board, and serves as Ethics advisor.
