Frank Pallas is a senior researcher with the Information Systems Engineering Research Group, TU Berlin, Germany. He particularly leads the department's research activities on legally aligned privacy engineering in and for enterprise-grade systems, particularly also covering privacy principles beyond security and data minimization. After receiving his PhD in computer science from TU Berlin, he was postdoctoral researcher at KIT's Center for Applied Legal Studies as well as at FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik. Against this background, his research soundly integrates technical and legal perspectives, allowing for a multitude of one-of-its kind contributions at the intersection of (especially privacy) law and technology.
