Yohko Orito is Associate professor of MIS at the Faculty of Collaborative Regional Innovation, Ehime University, Matsuyama, Japan. She received her PhD in commerce from Meiji University, Tokyo, Japan in 2007. She has been a research associate at the Centre for Business Information Ethics, Meiji University since 2007 and was a visiting scholar at the Centre for Computing and Social Responsibility, De Montfort University, Leicester, UK in 2010. Her research interest is in information ethics in business organisations, particularly use of personal information in businesses and protection of the right to privacy and freedom.
