Prof. Evangelos Markakis has a Doctorate in Peer Two Peer Constellations in Broadband Networks from the University of the Aegean's Department of Information & Communication Systems Engineering. He participated in 20 EU FP5/FP6/FP7/Horizon2020 projects (IST/ICT/Health/Security). Evangelos was HORIZON 2020 DRS-19-2014 "EMYNOS" Technical Manager and Horizon Europe TRUSTEE Technical Manager. He directed various European and Greek-funded projects in cybersecurity, distributed systems, P2P applications, large-scale heterogeneous network architecture, Fog Computing & Networking, network management, virtualization, and SDN/NFV principles, his core research fields.
