Karlo Lukic earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics in Croatia before moving to Germany to pursue a Master's degree at Goethe University Frankfurt. During his studies, Karlo worked as a student tutor, a freelance music producer for Croatia Records, and an intern for a tech startup Apple later acquired. Karlo is now a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Chair of Electronic Commerce, investigating consumer privacy, online tracking, and privacy laws and utilizing regression analysis, difference-in-differences, and web data scraping methods. Bernd Skiera and Klaus M. Miller are his doctoral advisors.
