Martyna Kusak is adjunct professor at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland, and post-doc collaborator in the Institute for International Research on Criminal Policy, Ghent University (Belgium). She holds a double doctoral degree from Adam Mickiewicz University and Ghent University. Her leading research fields are the EU and international cooperation in criminal matters, data protection in criminal matters and the use of big data in criminal investigations. She has conducted an in-depth research on mutual admissibility of evidence, including e-evidence, with a proposal of the EU common minimum standards in this regard.
