Dina Kampouraki graduated from Athens University in Economics and Business with a diploma in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Information Systems. In 1999 she started working for the Hellenic Data Protection Authority. In 2000, she became an active member of the Joint Supervisory Body (JSB) of Europol and the Joint Supervisory Authority of Schengen. In 2006 she was seconded for two years as a national expert in the Secretariat of Data Protection at the Council of the European Union. Since April 2017, she works for the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS) as a technology and Security Officer in the IT Policy Unit which aims on providing technology expertise for the EDPS supervisory and advisory functions.
