Tamar Kaldani is the First Vice-Chair of the Consultative Committee of the Council of Europe Convention 108. As a senior data protection expert of the CoE, EU, GIZ, UN and OSCE commissioned projects, Tamar contributes to the development of data protection legal frameworks and independent supervisory authorities in Africa and Central Asia. Tamar served as the first Data Protection Commissioner of Georgia from 2013 to 2019.
