Jhalak M. Kakkar is Executive Director at the Centre for Communication Governance, National Law University Delhi, a research centre that works on information law & policy issues. CCG undertakes academic research, policy input & capacity building across privacy & data governance, platform governance, & regulation of emerging technology. Before CCG, she was a Visiting Researcher at Harvard Law School & a Programme Manager at PRS Legislative Research. Jhalak graduated with an LLM from Harvard Law School on a Fulbright-Nehru Masters Fellowship. She has a law degree from the National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata, India.
