Aisha Kadiri is a PhD Candidate at the École Normale Supérieure in Paris (PSL University) and the Chair Geopolitics of Risk. Her doctoral research focuses on the topic of digital colonialism and both its societal and individual impacts. In her recent work, Aisha has explored ways to rethink data protection, algorithmic power structures, and the category of the data subject with the help of Afrofuturism.
