Timo Jakobi is a professor for AI-based UX evaluation at the Nuremberg University of Applied Sciences, Germany. With a background in HCI and computer sciences, Timo investigates the intersection of HCI and (data protection) law. Timo likes to combine qualitative and quantitative research methods to gain interdisciplinary insights and sustainable solutions. He has published over 40 papers in international and top-level conferences in the area of Human Computer Interaction on issues such as usable privacy in IoT devices, data literacy, explainable AI, and Legal Design.
