Oumaima Hajri is a researcher and lecturer at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. Her overall work focuses on AI's social, political and ethical impact to decolonise, demystify and deconstruct AI and ensure that emerging technologies are developed in beneficial ways. She is also part of the first MSt AI Ethics & Society cohort at the University of Cambridge. In addition, Oumaima co-founded the "AI Better World" platform to raise awareness and educate about AI and is leading the "No Military AI" alliance, advocating for a moratorium on developing military AI.
