Mag. Dr. Oskar Josef Gstrein, LL.M. is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Governance and Innovation of Campus Fryslân, where he is also member of the Data Research Centre. His overall research theme is ‘Human Dignity in the Digital Age’ and his publications cover aspects of Internet Governance, the governance of emerging technologies, privacy, security, and digital identity. Oskar is currently carrying out research in the EU Horizon 2020 project ‘Cutting Crime Impact’, the EU-funded Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership ‘Modernising European Legal Education’ and coordinating research and training in a NUFFIC (Orange Knowledge Programme) grant awarded for an interdisciplinary training project on cybersecurity.
