Helen Gibson is the Head of Operations at the Centre of Excellence in Terrorism, Resilience, Intelligence and Organised Crime Research (CENTRIC) and editor of a book on Dark Web Investigation. Helen works across the security domain collaborating with stakeholders to identify solutions to contemporary security challenges. She has recent experience in analysing the legal, ethical and privacy implications of technology development for security. CENTRIC also leads AP4AI (Accountability Principles for Artificial Intelligence) which supports internal security practitioners to safeguard and demonstrate true accountability of AI use towards society.
