Arda Gerkens has been active in the fight against child sexual abuse since 2002. She leads an organisation that combats online harm and sexual (child) abuse. The organisation has a helpline for victims (Helpwanted), a helpline for offenders (Stop it Naw) and the Dutch Hotline (Meldpunt Kinderporno). Gerkens is also a Senator and Vice President of the Senate. She has two children.
