Jana Gajdošová is Head of Justice and Security Sector in the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights. Her areas of expertise include: access to justice and rule of law; digitalisation in the area of justice and law enforcement and criminal procedural rights. She previously worked as a lawyer in the Office of the Government Agent of Slovakia before the European Court of Human Rights, as a research fellow in the School of Law, University of East Anglia and as an intern at the European Commission’s DG Legal Service. She has a PhD in human rights law and has published a number of book chapters and articles – including a chapter on legal redress mechanisms for individuals against intelligence action in Dietrich and Sule (eds.), Intelligence Law and Policies in Europe: a handbook.
