Julia Chrusciel is an artificial intelligence and cybersecurity researcher based in Washington, DC. She was previously the staff technologist at the Center on Privacy & Technology at Georgetown Law. Her work focuses on the use of biometrics in the United States, specifically on the use of face recognition technology within the criminal legal system and the use of artificial intelligence by government and law enforcement entities, as well as international media and technology policy surrounding journalism and new media. She has an M.A. from the University of Chicago and a B.A. from Wellesley College.
