Cahane

Hebrew University of Jerusalem (IR)

Amir is a PhD student in the Faculty of Law at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he is research fellow in the third generation digital human rights research project and a research fellow in the Federmann Cyber Security Research Center – Cyber Law Program. He also serves as a researcher in the Israel Democracy Institute. His research interests are comparative surveillance law, AI regulation and other topics pertaining to law and technology. Amir has published two books on online surveillance laws “Regulation of Online Surveillance in Israeli Law and Comparative Law” and “Oversight of Online Surveillance in Israel”, both in Hebrew.
