Ecole Polytechnique (FR)

Olivier Blazy is a Professor at the Ecole Polytechnique in France. He did his Ph.D. in the Ecole Normale Supérieure, on proofs of knowledge and their applications. After 2 years of Postdoc in Germany, he became an associate professor for 7 years in the University of Limoges where he lead the Cryptis Master Program. He conducts research on identity-based, and code-based cryptography and their real-life applications like in 5G or secure messaging He has proposed candidates for the NIST post quantum standardization process, including BIKE, and HQC that are still in the running. He is co-leading the French work-group on Codes and Cryptography
