Jürgen Baensch is Director Public Policy and Government Affairs of the Interactive Software Federation of Europe and PEGI S.A., the organization that manages the pan-European age rating system for video games PEGI. Jürgen drives the video games sector’s public policy engagement in relation to a wide range of policy areas, including but not limited to data protection, privacy and security, minor and consumer protection, e-commerce and advertising, e-skills and education. Jürgen also leads the government affairs program of PEGI S.A. on behalf of 2300+ companies. In that capacity, he oversees the establishment of a co-regulatory framework that addresses societal concerns in close cooperation with European Institutions and Member States.
