Veridiana Alimonti is an Associate Director for Latin American Policy Analyst at the Electronic Frontier Foundation. Veridiana is a lawyer, has a Ph.D in Human Rights from the University of São Paulo Law School, and holds a Master’s degree in Economic Law from the same institution. Her work focuses on the intersection of technology and human rights, such as privacy and freedom of expression. Veridiana was a civil society representative at the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee (CGI.br) from 2010 to 2013. She has also been a study visitor at the Data Protection Unit of the Council of Europe.
