We invited one of our favorite bookshops to select and present a surprising literature list at the conference. During the conference hours you can browse through the books, find some 'classics' and discover new titles. We are positive you will feel the urge to add a new title to your book collection.
About De Groene Waterman
The bookshop was born in Antwerp in 1968 and is turned into a cooperative since 1997. De Groene Waterman is more than a shop. Its offer is not determined by numbers, but is the personal choice of the booksellers. Here, a book may be a bit older or have a slower selling time. The store offers nearly 10,000 titles, covering an extensive range of prose, poetry, philosophy, art, science, history, sociology, politics and children's books. They go through great lengths highlighting lesser-known, high-quality publishers, authors and magazines. They often rely on the expertise and taste of our customers for this. The shop offers books in Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish and Italian.
Thanks to the many cooperative members and volunteers, De Groene Waterman manages to combine an independent and progressive bookshop with a cultural cellar where debates, performances and book presentations are organised. And yes, events about privacy and data protection are coming soon to the cellar!
