Event Description

How do we make interoperability a reality, before regulation? Tracking Exposed’s free, pioneering browser extension lets YouTube users and creators control the recommendations on their videos - without input from YouTube.

In this talk from Margaux Vitre you’ll learn what Tracking Exposed’s tool can do, how to install it, hear about the vision for YouChoose, and how you can get involved.

YouChoose.ai is a free software project built by Tracking Exposed, a non-profit that investigates influential algorithms.

Algorithmic bias on YouTube is well documented, but for the first time, [YouChoose.ai](http://YouChoose.ai) offers a solution to these problems using adversarial interoperability that doesn’t rely on regulators or YouTube.

This talk is for anyone interested in algorithmic transparency, including journalists, researchers and regulators who might want to collaborate, and YouChoose users and creators. Suitable for a non-technical audience.
