Daragh O Brien is Managing Director of Castlebridge (www.castlebridge.ie), a leading Information Governance, Privacy, and Strategy consultancy and training company based in Ireland. He is a faculty member of the Law Society of Ireland's Diploma Centre and a Fellow of the Irish Computer Society. Mario Oetheimer (Fundamental Rights Agency EU Agency for Fundamental Rights) is Head of Sector – Information Society, Privacy and Data Protection. His areas of expertise with respect to the Agency’s FRA’s work include: data protection and freedom of expression; disability and human rights; the European Court of Human Rights. Mario manages the project on Surveillance by intelligence services: fundamental rights safeguards and remedies in the EU. Before joining the Agency in 2009, he worked for the Council of Europe for thirteen years – first with the Council of Europe media division and then with the European Court of Human Rights research division.
Casey Oppenheim is the founder and CEO of Disconnect, a digital privacy company that powers software actively used by over 50 million people. Disconnect creates products and services that allow users to understand and control unwanted tracking and access to their online activity. Disconnect has won several awards including the 2015 Innovation Award for Privacy and Security at the South by Southwest Conference and was named best privacy software by the New York Times in 2016. Casey frequently presents and is often quoted by media on matters of consumer privacy. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and children.
