Privacy Impact Assessments: Concepts and experiences

Within the Netherlands Privacy Impact Assessment has been studied in a national working group in order to create a uniformly shared approach that should be useful for both large scale and small scale companies and for public organisations. Notwithstanding an interesting approach in the design of the PIA, the original intentions failed to materialise. During the panel the background of the project and the dynamics of the process will be illustrated.
