Short BIO

Katitza Rodríguez is the Director of EPIC´s International Privacy Project and Coordinator of The Public Voice Coalition. She concentrates on comparative policy and legal aspects of privacy and data protection. She is Research Director for "Privacy and Human Rights Report (PHR) 2007," the most comprehensive survey of privacy laws and developments in the world. She was also Research Editor of the Latin American Reports in the 2005 and 2006 editions of PHR. She was responsible for facilitating the participation of Civil Society in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Ministerial in Seoul, Korea as well as the organization of the OECD Civil Society Forum. She is also in charge of liaising with data protection authorities, policymakers, consumer and civil society organizations around the world. She hold a degree in Law from the University of Lima, Peru.
