Short BIO

Mrs. drs. S. Nas (1969) works for the Dutch data protection authority as internet and telecom expert since 2006. As such she provides strategic advice to the board of Commissioners, initiates and carries out formal investigations, prepares opinions on legislative proposals and represents the Dutch DPA in national and international meetings such as the Technology Subgroup of the Working Party 29. Before, she was co-director of the digital civil rights organisation Bits of Freedom and public affairs officer for the Dutch ISP XS4ALL.
