Title of the presentation
Technical Protection of Privacy in ITS
Abstract
In my contribution, I will motivate why the introduction of privacy enhancing technologies (PETs) is mandatory for cooperative ITS systems to prevent a true privacy nightmare. I will highlight different PETs to achieve such a technical protection and focus on two solutions that are the results of work done in the SeVeCom and PRECIOSA projects. One is the use of pseudonymous authentication schemes, the other the mandatory enforcement of privacy policies in cooperative ITS.
