Short BIO

Dr. David A. Evans has worked in the field of computational linguistics for more than 30 years. He has served as Professor of Linguistics and Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University (1983-1996) and President, CEO, and Chief Scientist of Clairvoyance Corporation (1992-2009), where he pioneered development of technology for information and text analysis using natural language processing. He regards E-Discovery as one of the signature challenges for modern information science.
